About

The translation layer for
career transitions.

QuickLift Academy is a Role Readiness tool for senior professionals. It reads your track record against the role you're going for, separates what only needs relabelling from what is genuinely new, and makes you fluent in both — in eight focused hours.

Why we built it

Senior professionals crossing into new roles don't need reskilling. They need their existing capability reframed against a new context, with surgical gap-filling on the few things that actually matter.

The gap is almost never as big as it feels — it's just unnamed. QuickLift Academy names it, measures it, bridges it, and proves the work was done.

We looked at what existed. Generic courses take weeks and don't know your background. Executive coaching costs thousands and requires an employer to foot the bill. AI interview tools help you sound ready but don't make you ready. Nobody was doing personalised, fast Role Readiness for individuals. So we built it.

How it works

You upload your LinkedIn export or CV, paste the target role description, and QuickLift Academy's gap engine runs a translated analysis. It classifies every gap it finds: framing gaps (real capability, wrong label) get translated; true gaps (the genuinely new sliver) get covered with curated, timeboxed resources.

The result is a Quick Lift — four focused modules, about two hours each. Complete them, pass the quizzes, and QuickLift Academy issues a named credential you can share on LinkedIn or download as a PDF.

The full process is described on the how-it-works page.

Who it's for

Senior professionals — VP, Head, Director, C-suite — in a transition moment. People with ten to twenty-plus years of experience who are time-poor and high-agency. They know what they don't know, and that specific gap is making them feel like a fraud. They don't want generic courses. They want someone to say: here are the four things that matter, here's the eight-hour plan, here's the proof.

Who we are

QuickLift Academy is built by Ortomate, a New Zealand company (NZBN 9429052636967) founded by Andrew Mayfield. Andrew spent twenty years leading product teams across industries before recognising the pattern this product is built on: senior professionals underselling hard-won capability because it's filed under the vocabulary of their old title.
